The profession
You get to the bottom of faults and malfunctions. As an automotive mechatronics technician, you maintain and repair cars. This includes everything from replacing individual parts to inspecting vehicles and advising and communicating with customers.
What you learn with us
Our automotive professionals will familiarise you step by step with the field of vehicle technology. This includes: mechanics, hydraulics, electrics and electronics. In addition to dealing with all modern techniques of bodywork processing and repair, you will carry out system measurements and tests with diagnostic equipment.
Everything revolves around versatile materials such as aluminium, carbon, magnesium or plastic.
You will be responsible for shaping sheet metal and painting surfaces - both independently and as part of a team with your colleagues.

The profession
As an IT specialist for system integration, you are responsible for planning and configuring IT systems. This includes installing and setting up hardware components, operating systems and networks. If a system malfunction occurs, you analyse the cause. Furthermore, you help users with application problems.

You gain experience that will benefit you for a lifetime. From A for application operation to S for service desk to Z for central data centre - we'll get you fit for the broad spectrum of modern IT. Your apprenticeship will cover the planning and implementation of complex IT systems through the integration of hardware and software components as well as the commissioning and administration of IT systems. Above all, you will need to show initiative, because you will plan projects as part of a team and implement them on your own responsibility.

From planning to ordering and receiving goods. This varied occupation promises a mix of work on the PC, helping out in the warehouse and contact with suppliers. With a good system, you will have an overview of the warehouse logistics so as to prevent any delivery bottlenecks.

Tips for your application
How do I apply?

How important are grades?
Good grades in German, maths and physics are important. However, your motivation, diligence, reliability and team spirit (=soft skills) are more important to us.

What happens after my application?
You will receive a short confirmation of receipt by e-mail. You will be notified within two weeks and, if the feedback is positive, you will be invited to an interview directly at the location.
How does the interview proceed?
Make sure you arrive on time for the interview. The trainer and/or branch manager will conduct the interview with you. The purpose of the interview is to get to know you a little and to assess whether you would fit into our team.
What happens after the interview?
We will let you know as soon as possible whether you have been accepted or rejected. A further option is the offer of a work placement. This will give you an insight into the day-to-day work and whether you can imagine doing the apprenticeship.
What can I expect during my apprenticeship?
- Depending on the location, there will be block instruction or 1-2 days of vocational school per week.
- In addition, you will be sent on regular training courses
- Tandem option (get a taste of another branch)
- There is a regular exchange of information between all our trainees via our intranet.
What can I expect after my apprenticeship?
- You are at the end of your apprenticeship and would like to stay with us? Do you have an overall grade point average of at least 2.5? Then we guarantee you a job for at least 6 months!
- You will be supported by us in preparing for your exam with the help of learning material.
- You will receive a qualified appraisal interview at the end of your apprenticeship.
